Never dread bed-making again with these clever hacks!

Too old for this sheet too? 💁🏼‍♀️

The struggle is real when it comes to fitted sheets! With these clever fitted sheet hacks, making your bed (and sleeping in it) will be hassle-free. 🙌🏻

1. Buy patterned sheets so you know which way to put them on at first glance.

After switching to patterned sheets, you’ll swear by using them when it comes to making your bed! Having a pattern and knowing which directions it runs will help you remember just how to place your fitted sheet without the hassle of trial and error. Stripes work especially well, too.

2. Find the tag on your fitted sheet so you always know where it goes.

According to a user on Reddit, the tag that’s sewn to the corner of your fitted sheet is always supposed to go on the bottom right corner of your bed. What a genius tip!

While there may be a rogue company out there that doesn’t abide by these rules, I’ve found my sheets typically have a convenient tag reading”top/bottom” or “side” as another helpful guide.

3. Put the top corners on first so you have an easier time stretching that last corner.

The corners that sit against your headboard are the hardest to stretch a fitted sheet over, especially if your sheet fits nice and snug on your mattress. Make your life easier and put the top corners of your fitted sheet on first. Then stretch the bottom corners on. Following these steps will result in a seamless bed-making experience. 🙌🏻

4. Keep your sheet from slipping off of your bed by adding an elastic band to keep it in place.

I really love how Deanna shares how to fix your fitted sheet by adding some 2″ pajama elastics to the corners. If you’re handy with a sewing machine, this is a quick and inexpensive fix that’ll keep your fitted sheet from constantly slipping off the bed.

In the market for new sheets altogether? You can BUY this clever fitted sheet hack!

I recently bought these Walmart sheets which came with the convenience of elastics already on the fitted sheet! Starting at just over $20 for an entire set, these would make an affordable upgrade for any bedroom.

I have always found that putting on one top corner of a bottom fitted sheet and then the diagonally bottom corner second makes it so much easier to complete the last two corners.

My husband too!! His side inevitably always comes undone, it doesn’t seem to matter what I do. LOL

I agree. They work really well. No more wet clothes rolled up in the corners.
