The Brady Bunch House Renovation is Complete – And It Takes Us Back To The 70s
Here’s the story… 🎶
On July 21st, 2018, the iconic 1970s-style ranch house, used for exterior shots of The Brady Bunch 1970s TV series, hit the market for $1.88 million in Studio City, California. The home received multiple offers, but HGTV sealed the deal, landing the highest bid at $3.5 million.
After purchasing the home, various HGTV crew members (including Property Brothers twins, Desert Flippers couple, Good Bones mother-daughter duo, and others) worked to rebuild the house to its full 70s grandeur – and, they just announced that the renovation is finally complete! 🙌🏻
HGTV documented the entire renovation and restoration process which will debut in a new 20-episode HGTV series, A Very Brady Renovation, scheduled to air September 2019. The Brady Bunch siblings even reunited at the original home on November 1st, 2018 (as seen above).
Until the launch of the show, be sure to watch a few behind-the-scenes short videos, “Building Brady,” on the show’s Facebook page. Also, here are a few incredible photos from the reveal!

Is it weird that I actually love this style and would live here?
Nope! I’m loving it too, Nicole! Thanks for taking a moment to comment!
I love HGTV. Cannot wait to watch this.
Love Love Love it ❤
I always liked the staircase.
Me too! That is my favorite part of the house!
I’m the same age as Maureen McCormick and there was something very comforting about watching the series when I was a kid. Seeing these photos now brings back such feelings of nostalgia and a longing for the simple way of life which seemed to stretch out time and make it feel like my childhood went on forever.
Super excited! I flew across the country with my daughters to see the house when it went up for sale – and now I can’t wait to see the inside when the show airs!!!
How fun! Thanks for sharing, Maria! I sure would love to go see it!
I love that show
who will live in the house or brought it. Did jane buy it.
Good question! They don’t say who will live in it. I guess we’ll have to watch the renovation special to see if they announce that!
