Wolrd Market Outdoor set with white cushions

I want all the Restoration Hardware things… but not the prices!

Most shoppers can’t afford the hefty price tags that come with every single high-end piece at Restoration Hardware. So, if you’re looking to update your outdoor patio and like the styles of Restoration Hardware furniture, you’re going to love these affordable knockoffs!

Here are two outdoor chairs I’m currently obsessing over:

two side by side comparisons of white and wood modern chair

Either of these sleek, modern chairs would spruce up your patio oasis.

The bummer? Just one chair with cushions from Restoration Hardware is going to cost you around a whopping $1,750 plus delivery fees starting at $199+. 😱 Keep in mind that the chair without the cushions is already $1,225, and then when you add the chair cushions (you’ll need to add them separately), that tacks on around another $525 – depending on the cushions you choose!

That all-in $279 pricing for the World Market chair is sounding a whole lot better, isn’t it? 😉

gorgeous cozy outdoor space with furniture and cement firepit and accent chairs

I first saw this gorgeous World Market set on Ashley’s Instagram page, and I loved the affordable price compared to the Restoration Hardware set I love so much. The best part is that you clearly don’t have to sacrifice great style to enjoy a stylish and inviting outdoor space.

My dream outdoor set would cost almost $7,000 from RH! 😱

Just for fun, I added my dream outdoor set from Restoration Hardware to my cart. This included one sofa + cushions and one chair + cushions. (In an ideal world, I would want a second lounge chair, but I’m trying to stick to a modest budget here. 😉) My total for the RH set (including tax and shipping) came to a monstrous $6,676.94. 😱 I really love you, Restoration, but not that much.

If you want a dreamy setup like Ashley’s above, this World Market outdoor set will run you around $1,000 for a sofa and lounge chair (possibly even less when on sale!). That’s over $5,500 LESS than the RH price tag! And yes, that’s including tax, shipping, and all the cushions you need to get this party started. 😉

Check out this similar, affordable set I spotted at Target:

Wood Conversation Patio Set

This stylish Smith & Hawkin set from Target has similar clean lines to the Restoration Hardware set, which immediately drew my eye! I also love the bold rope detail on the arms of each piece, making them more durable and unique. Plus, it’s way more affordable – for one sofa and chair, this set will cost just over $1,400 (including tax) and comes with free shipping. That’s still about $5,200 LESS than the Restoration Hardware set!

I just purchased my first patio set from the restoration hardware outlet for $4,500. I was sick of my sets wearing out and looking terrible after 3-4 years. Make sure you either get a high quality teak or the rattan wicker so it lasts. The cheap stuff might look the same when you buy it, but over time you will end up spending the same amount as the cheap stuff will need to be replaced much more frequently. I invested about $100 in covers for my set and I anticipate it will last 20+ years and look just as nice in 10 as it does now. Just something to consider when you buy knock off.
